Such work platforms are vertically adjustable by manual or powered means and may be towed or manually moved horizontally on wheels or casters that are an integral part of the work platform base. Alternatively, the base may be skidded or stationary, and the platform may be horizontally extended or rotated relative to the base structure.

(2) Vehicle-mounted elevating and rotating work platforms (such as those covered in ANSI A92.2-1979)

(3) Self-propelled elevating work platforms (such as those covered in American National Standard for Self-Propelled Elevating Work Platforms, ANSI A92.6-1979)

(4) Powered platforms for exterior building maintenance (such as those covered in American National Standard Safety Code for Powered Platforms for Exterior Building Maintenance, ANSI A120.1-1970)
