scope:

This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies methods of sampling and testing the grain-oriented and non-oriented magnetic steel strip (hereafter referred to as "steel strip") in relation to measurement of size, cutting burr, flatness, residual curvature and of edge camber and internal stress; tests for a.c. magnetization characteristics, iron loss, and apparent power at commercial and audio frequency; d.c. magnetization characteristics test; stacking factor test; layer insulation resistance test; tensile test; and repeated bending test.
