The present document specifies the minimum performance parameters for terrestrial digital and analogue fixed service radio communications equipments operating in the 38 GHz frequency band and incorporates, where necessary, changes made in Amendment 1 (1994) and contains a complete revision in the areas of: - Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) standardization (i.e. ETS 300 385 [11] and ETS 300 339 [10] where applicable); - emissions and immunity at antenna port standardization activity (under study in TM4), new revised ITU-R Recommendation SM.329-7 [20] and the forthcoming CEPT Recommendation on spurious emissions; - conformance test standardization activity of test methods and test reports (i.e. EN 301 126-1 [2]). The present document does not cover aspects related to test procedures and test conditions which are in the scope of EN 301 126-1 [2].
