This specification covers the general requirements for coaxial, semirigid, radio frequency cable with corrugated outer copper conductors (see 6.1).
The term Part or Identifying Number (PIN) is equivalent to the term part number which was previously used in this specification. The military PIN (when applicable) consists of the letter "M", the basic number of the specification sheet, and an assigned dash number (see 3.1), as shown in the following example:
Jacket material is as specified in the specification sheet (see 3.1) and as follows:
Type I - Unjacketed.
Type II - Jacketed (polyethylene).
Type IV - Jacketed (nonhalogenated fire-retardant compound).
