This Standard provides requirements for the following:
(a) plastic drain and sewer pipe and plastic pipe fittings with pipe stiffness of 275, 320, or 625 kPa, including both single-wall and coextruded dual-wall pipe with a smooth interior;
(b) single-wall, noncorrugated, perforated plastic pipe and plastic pipe fittings;
(c) coextruded dual-wall perforated plastic pipe with a smooth interior and corrugated exterior; and
(d) solvent cement.
Note: Industrial waste disposal lines should be installed only with the specific approval of the regulatory authority because chemicals not commonly found in drains and sewers, and temperatures greater than 60T, may be encountered. Guidance on the relationship between pipe stiffness and end use of pipe is given in Appendix A.
The values given in SI (metric) units are the standard. The values given in parentheses are for information only.
