This commercial item description covers the general requirements for a 4,000 pound at 24 inch load-center capacity, electric, front/side loading, forklift truck. It shall be capable of picking up and depositing loads that are directly in front, and 90 degrees to the side, of the truck. It shall be EE rated in accordance with UL 583. It shall be used for handling cargo in narrow aisle warehouses, loading platforms, and docks; on paved or other hard surfaces.
