This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies screwed type steel pipe fittings(1) used for ordinary pipings for water, oil, steam, air, gas or the like (hereafter referred to as "fittings").
Note (1) To be used for carbon steel pipes for piping specified in JIS G 3452, and those coated with resin are used mainly for resin-lined steel pipes for water service.
