This specification covers the requirements for two types and colors for one grade of a low-moisture-sensitivity, corrosion-inhibiting primer, primary intended for spray application on surface-treated aluminum surfaces or on surfaces coated with pre-treatment coating in accordance with MIL-C-8514 or DOD-P-15328. This primer may be used either with or without top coating. When suitably thinned, the primer may be used for dip or flow-coat application. This specification is suitable for use under air pollution regulations.
