This Defence Standard specifies the requirements for a synthetic rubber resin adhesive intended for general packaging purposes, including use with expanded polystyrene, in applications where a temperature range of -35 °C to 70 °C may be encountered. The adhesive is not resistant to lubricating oils or petroleum based fuels.
The adhesive may be supplied both as an aerosol pack and in containers ready for use by spray gun application at pressures not exceeding 210 kPa.
