This Code provides requirements for the installation of, or alteration to, hydronic heating systems, including
(a) boilers;
(b) circulating pumps;
(c) expansion tanks;
(d) distribution and radiant panel piping;
(e) piping and tubing;
(f) fittings;
(g) valves;
(h) system controls;
(i) hydronic space heating;
(j) radiant heating;
(k) domestic hot water heating; and
(l) auxiliary systems.
This Code covers component selection, sizing, acceptable equipment for all fuel types, installation, corrosion, tests, inspection, and cleaning.
This Code also covers hydronic space heating systems, including convection and radiant panels, domestic hot water heating, and auxiliary systems such as pool and spa heating and snow melting.
