This regulation applies to members of the Active Army, the Army National Guard/Army National Guard of the United States, the United States Army Reserve, Department of the Army civilians, other United States Federal employees , military retirees , United States contractors whose contracts include such services and programs, some local nationals whose employment considerations include such service sand programs , and adult family members unless otherwise stated.

Purpose

This regulation-

a. Implements Department of Defense Directive (DODD) 1322.8E, Department of Defense Instructions (DODIs) 1322.25 and 1322.19.

b. Establishes vision, mission, strategic goals, policies, and responsibilities for Army Continuing Education System (ACES).

c. Delegates authority for managing Army Continuing Education System (ACES) programs and services.
