AIM

The aim of this agreement is to establish minimum crash, fire and rescue (CFR) core competency levels for all NATO fire officers and fire fighters; and to standardize and implement minimum requirements for fire fighter training on aircraft emergency egress, aircrew emergency extraction, and live aircraft crash fires. The goal is to ensure fire fighters supporting the NATO mission have a common core of experience and the proficiency of skills necessary to protect personnel, aircraft, munitions, mission essential facilities, and other resources from the threat of fire.
