AIM
The aim of this Standardization Agreement is to ensure fire fighters supporting the NATO mission have a common core of experience and the proficiency of skills necessary to protect personnel, aircraft, munitions, mission essential facilities, and other resources from the threat of fire. The aim of this agreement is twofold:
a. Establish minimum crash, fire fighting and rescue (CFR) core competency levels for all participating nation firefighters.
b. Standardize and implement minimum requirements for fire fighter training on aircraft emergency egress, aircrew emergency extraction, and live aircraft crash fires.
