The equipment wires specified here in are for the internal wiring of electronic and other equipment. They are insulated with PVC, or polyethylene, or silicone rubber, and are suitable for use
The upper temperature limits in the above table refer to the.maximum continuous temperature of the conductor due to the combination of ambient temperature and temperature rise due to current flow. The lower values quoted are the minimum temperatures for equipment wires which may be subject to slight flexing during their norml operating life.
The current carrying capacities quoted in column (a) of Tables I ( A ) . to I ( K ) are f o r wires carrying a continuous current in free air at an ambient temperature
