scope:
The standard specifies the safety, constructional and performance requirements for automatic shut-off valves for gas burners and gas appliances. It also gives the test procedures for evaluating these requirements and information necessary for the purchaser and the user. This amendment A 2 to EN 161 specifies the additional requirements and test methods for class J valves so EN 161 applies also to J valves.
