inactive
Organization: DS
Publication Date: 22 May 2003
Status: inactive
Page Count: 110
ICS Code (Fuses and other overcurrent protection devices): 29.120.50
scope:

The following additional requirements apply to fuses with: SECTION I and (IA) - (striker) fuse-links having blade contacts intended to be replaced by means of a device, such as a replacement handle see Figure 3 (I). Such fuses have rated currents up to and including 1250 A and a rated voltages up to and including 690 V a.c. or 440 V d.c. Additional requirements to fuses with fuse-links having gripping-lugs made of insulating material or metallic gripping-lugs fixed in insulating material are also defined in the common modifications. SECTION II - fuse-links having bolted connections. Such fuses have rated currents up to and including 1250 A and a rated voltages up to and including 690 V a.c. and up to and including 500 V d.c. SECTION III - fuse-links having cylindrical caps with or without striker. Such fuses have rated currents not exceeding 125 A and a rated voltages up to and including 690 V a.c. SECTION IV - fuse-links having offset blade contacts. Such fuses have rated currents up to and including 125 A and a rated voltages up to and including 400 V a.c. SECTION V - fuse-links having "gD" and "gN" characteristics. Such fuses have rated currents up to and including 60 A for cylindrical contacts, 600 A for blade/bolted connections and 6000 A for bolted connections. Rated voltage is a.c. 600 V and interrupting rating is 200 kA.
