Preface
The standards set forth herein apply to the fourth edition of the Standard for Vented Gas Fireplaces, ANSI 221 SO-2003 CSA 2.22-2003, ANSI 221 Soa-2003 CSA 2.22a-2003 and supersede corresponding standards therein. Following their preparation by the supervising Technical Advisory Group, they were accepted by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the Interprovincial Gas Advisory Council (IGAC), and subsequently approved.
