scope:
a. This Standard relates to cartons for use in packaging supp1ies for the Services. It is a manufacturing specification only and contains no information on the use of the·cartons in package design; this is included in DG-11, 'Design requirements for Service packaging'.
b. The cartons are classified by style according to the form of construction. There are five styles as follows:
Style 1 (International fibreboard case code (IFCC) number 0204) with inner and outer closure flaps butting.
Style 2 (International fibreboard case code (IFCC) number 0201) with outer closure flaps only butting.
Style 3 (International fibreboard case code (IFCC) number 0203) with outer closure flaps overlapping fully.
Style 3A (International fibreboard case code (IFCC) number 0202) with outer closure flaps·overlapping partially.
Style 4 (International.fibre
c. There are two classes of carton according to the grade of board from which· they are manufactured, Class A and Class B.
