This document is applicable to complete non-soldered pipe fittings with a compression ring (ferrule) und union nut according to DIN EN ISO 8434-1, that are provided with a short tapered stud end or male stud end according to DIN 3852-1 and DIN 3852-2.
This standard gives an overview of the types and dimensions of compression fittings and couplings that are assembled from standardized parts and are not covered in DIN EN ISO 8434-1. It can be used to select fittings and determine the size of assemblies.
NOTE Standard design straight stud ends are covered in DIN EN ISO 8434-1.
