This guideline applies to air-conditioning systems. In this guideline, basic terminology and definitions for heat recovery are established, and the required components, systems and procedures are described, along with their modes of operation. In this context, it also provides criteria and characteristics for making selections as well as for performing calculations.
The guideline also facilitates assessments concerning suitability and efficiency as well as reductions in the energy requirements and CO2 emissions. The requirements from VDI 6022 Part 1 and VDI 3803 Part 1 apply.
