Organization: ISUZU
Publication Date: 1 December 2015
Status: active
Page Count: 15
scope:

This standard covers the tolerances applying to the dimensions of geometrical features of metallic parts made through cutting work, to which the tolerance values are not attached individually but shown collectively on drawings (hereinafter called general geometrical tolerance). Cutting work means the machining process in which cutting tools produce chips

PURPOSE

This standard is intended to establish a standard for the general tolerances applying to the dimensions of the features whose accuracy is not specifically required to meet the functional requirements for the purpose of establishing common understandings in the designing, manufacturing and inspecting divisions; thus, high efficiency will be brought in the operation of these divisions.
