This instruction applies to all United states Naval and Marine Corps Aviation aircraft EPSMs and components for which NAVAIR has logistics and engineering management responsibility. The exceptions to this are prototype and experimental models whose type model series begins with the letters "X' or "Y". All reporting activities, government and commercial, shall adhere to the procedures in this instruction. The procedures of this instruction shall be made a contractual requirement for non-organic support of EPMs defined above.

Purpose. To prescribe management procedures for Engine/Propulsion System Module (EPSM) and reporting procedures for the Decision Knowledge Programming for Logistics Analysis and Technical Evaluation (DECKPLATE) Engine Transaction Report (DECKETR) website as outlined in references (a) and (b) . This instruction establishes guidelines that will be used by all aircraft EPSM custodians.
