This specification should be used by all those when engaged in the overhaul of the two types of Tripcock Testers which are used extensively in the signalling system on LU. This specification is written to comply with engineering standard S1202 'Signal Equipment Overhaul'.

Note: The specification hierarchy which supports these requirements is detailed in Attachment 9.3 to this specification.

Purpose

This specification details the overhaul requirements for the two types of Tripcock Testers which are used in signalling systems on the London Underground (LU).
