This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies pre-painted stainless steel sheets and strips (hereafter referred to as "sheets" and "strips", respectively), produced by applying and stoving durable synthetic resin coating on cold-rolled stainless steel plates and strips specified in JIS G 4305, to be used mainly for roofing and exterior of buildings.
Printing, partial painting or others which do not affect the paint film quality are sometimes applied to sheets and strips.
