scope:
The following structure and calculation rules apply to fl at-roof, factory-fabricated fl at base tanks made of thermoplastics, in particular:
• Polyvinyl chloride (PVC),
• Polypropylene (PP),
• Polyethylene (PE),
• Polyvinylidene fl uoride (PVDF).
The analyses within this guideline only apply to tanks located inside buildings.
Flat roofs must not be accessed without implementing loaddistributing measures unless they are designed to hold a man load of 1.5 kN.
