Specifies the minimum safety characteristics required for the design, materials to use, manufacture and testing of inflatable boats propelled by engine(s). Is applicable to inflatable boats (including RIB's) less than 8 m overall length with a minimum buoyancy of 1800 N and an engine power rating of 15 kW (20 hp) and greater, intended to be used within an operating temperature range of -20°C to +60°C.
