scope:

Gives additional requirements and/or exceptions from EN 474-1 "Earth moving machinery - Safety - General requirements". This part of the standard EN 474 applies to wheel and crawler scrapers defined in ISO 6165:1997 , and gives additional requirements for derivated machinery. This standard deals with all significant hazards pertinent to scrapers when they are used as intended and under the condiitons foreseen by the manufacturer. This standard specifies the appropriate technical measures to eliminate or reduce risks arising from the significant hazrads.
