Purpose

The purpose of this standard is to set the requirements and provide the mechanism for:

a) allowing London Underground (LU) to clarify the intent of a requirement, in order to ensure compliance

b) resolving queries relative to LU's intent behind requirements

c) correcting any errors to ensure compliance

d) resolving contradictions where requirements given in two or more separate documents contradict one another.
