This Standard applies to LU and to its Suppliers. This Standard is not an alternative to, and does not replace, the Standards Change Control Process or Concessions Process but provides for an interim measure by using Written Notices where clarity is required around requirements in Standards.

Purpose

The purpose of this Standard is to set the requirements and provide the mechanism for:

a) allowing LU to clarify the intent of a requirement, in order to ensure compliance;

b) resolving queries relative to LU's intent behind requirements within Standards;

c) correcting any errors to Standards, in order to ensure compliance;

d) resolving contradictions where two requirements within a Standard or requirements given in two or more separate Standards contradict one another;

e) resolving disputes over LU's intent behind requirements in Standards which are enforceable;
