This document applies to LU and TfL staff and their suppliers.

This standard must be followed when seeking clarification for requirements in LU and TfL standards and technical specifications that are either unclear or contradict with other requirements.

To deviate from LU standard's requirement use the Concessions to Standards S1641

Purpose

The purpose of this standard is to set the requirements and provide the mechanism for:

a) allowing LU and TfL to clarify the intent of a requirement, in order to ensure compliance

b) resolving queries relative to LU's and TfL's intent behind requirements

c) correcting any errors to ensure compliance

d) resolving contradictions where requirements given in two or more separate documents contradict one another.
