This Standard applies to LUL and to its Suppliers. This Standard is not an alternative to, and does not replace, the Standards Change Control Process or Concessions Process but acts as an interim measure where clarity is required around requirements in Standards.

Purpose

The purpose of this Standard is to set the requirements and provide the mechanism for:

resolving disputes over LUL's intent behind requirements in Standards which are in place and enforceable;

resolving contradictions where two requirements within a Standard or requirements given in two or more separate Standards contradict one another;

resolving queries relative to LUL's intent behind requirements within Standards;

allowing LUL to clarify the intent of a requirement, in order to ensure appropriate compliance;

correcting any errors to Standards, in order to ensure appropriate compliance.
