scope:
This recommended practice includes:
a. Standards and recommendations for a 4 inch adapter for bottom loading.
b. Standards and recommendations applicable to tank vehicles equipped for bottom loading, and
c. Recommendations for liquid flow I control at loading islands.
PURPOSE
The objective of this recommended practice IS to provide a compatible adapter and i installation for bottom loading of tank vehicles at any terminal equipped for bottom loading.
