This recommended practice covers the following aspects of bonom loading and vapor recovery:

1. Required and recommended features for the configuration and operation of 101.6 mm (4-in.) adapters for bottom loading.

2. Required and recommended features for tank vehicles equipped for bottom loading.

3. Required and recommended feamres for secondary shutoff control systems.

4. Required and recommended features for tank vehicles equipped for vapor recovery.

5. Required and recommended features for loading installations equipped for bottom loading and/or vapor recovery.

PURPOSE

The objective of this recommended practice is to provide guidance to users and manufacturers in the design and operation of bottom loading and vapor recovery systems with compatible features.
