Purpose.
Reference (a) established policy for joint military and civil use of the Navy and Marine Corps aviation installations. As part of Department of Defense (DoD) Regulatory Reform, a new Joint-Service Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) for civil use of DoD aviation installations will replace existing Service CFRs. This CFR will address joint military and civil use of aviation installations and civil aircraft landing permits. Reference (a) will be subsumed into a new instruction providing procedures for the new CFR. Effective immediately, reference (a) is cancelled.
