This guidance applies to the maintenance of trainstops and their associated track crossing cables and termination boxes.

This guidance should be used by Asset Stewards when designing maintenance regimes for trainstops and their associated track crossing cables and termination boxes which connect the trainstop to the fixed cable network.

Note: This guidance does not apply to workshop overhaul of trainstops.

Note: Maintenance of trackside kiosks and boxes are covered by G199R 'Maintenance of Wayside Kiosks and Boxes'.

Purpose

This document provides the guidance for the minimum maintenance requirements for trainstops and their associated track crossing cables and termination boxes which connect the trainstop to the fixed cable network.
