Purpose:
In accordance with the authority in DoD Directives (DoDDs) 5111.01 and 3020.40, this issuance establishes policy, assigns responsibilities, and provides procedures for the establishment and execution of the Mission Assurance (MA) Construct. It also establishes the minimum requirements for risk management of non-DoD owned defense critical infrastructure (DCI) and rescinds the DoD Mission Assurance Implementation Framework from October 7, 2013.
