The application of this standard is only to those parts of Network Rail's Managed Infrastructure which are provided with track circuits that control and maintain the protecting signal(s) at danger.

The procedure does not include instructions for specification, approval, installation, commissioning, maintenance or day-to-day use of T-CODs.

Purpose

This standard specifies the issues to be considered by Network Rail Routes when determining where T-COD may be applied in order to comply with the Rule Book.
