scope:

This Standard applies to those who undertake activities that are deemed by the LU HSE Systems and Assurance Manager to be „Safety Critical‟, as defined by the Railways and Other Guided Transport Systems (Safety) Regulations 2006.

Those in scope are employees of the London Underground and, when working on the London Underground infrastructure, their suppliers.

Where a Framework Agreement (or similar) exists that is more stringent than the requirements of this standard, the terms of the Framework Agreement shall be complied with.

Purpose

The purpose of this standard is to ensure that the requirements of the Railway and Other Guided Transport Systems (Safety) Regulations 2006 (as amended) and ORR's Railway Safety Publication 4 (Safety Critical Tasks - Clarification of ROGS Regulations Requirements) are met.
