This standard deals with metalwork including work where metal and other materials are combined.
This standard does not cover
- structural steelwork (cf. DIN 18335);
- sheet metal roof and wall covering work (cf. DIN 18339);
- mounting of door and window hardware (cf. DIN 18357);
- fitting of roller shutters, blinds, etc. (cf. DIN 18358).
Clauses 1 to 5 of DIN 18299 shall also apply. In cases where the specifications of DIN 18299 contradict the present standard, the latter shall take precedence.
