scope:
This specification describes three series of electrical connectors and their associated contacts and accessories. These connectors shall be environment resisting, utilizing crimp and solder (Class H only) contacts and be capable of continuous operation within the temperature limits of -65°C (-85°F) to 200°c (392°F). The first basic connector series is type "B" bayonet coupling, intermateable with MIL-C-26482. The second basic series is type "T" threaded coupling, intermateable with MIL-C-5015. the third basic series is type "B" and type "T" intermateable with MIL-C-26500. In addition, requirement for hermetic receptacles with nonremovable contacts are included. The hermetic receptales with nonremovable contacts are included. The hermetic receptacles with nonremovable contracts are included. The hermetic receptacle shall mate with the appropriate byaonet or thread type connector and shall meed the same temperature requirements.
