Introduction

This Amendment introduces optional enhancements, to take into account the requirements of potential OSI users who do not have a need for full implementation, by permitting relaxation of the strict conformance requirements to allow implementations which will never need to support expedited data, or never need to operate over CONS, to still be conformant to ITU-T Rec. X.224 | ISO/IEC 8073 without necessarily implementing either or both of these facilities
