Network Rail Assurance Panel Processes: Introduction of New or Modified Vehicles
|Publication Date:||5 December 2015|
This module specifies the process to introduce a new or modified rail vehicle onto Network Rail infrastructure.
It applies when Network Rail is the affected party or proposer.
It does not apply to vehicles operating in a possession or testing on the mainline railway but does include transit to and from a possession or test zone.
This module supports GE/RT8270 Assessment of Compatibility of Rolling Stock and Infrastructure. It sets out the processes to be followed by a proposer to achieve the requirements of the standard.
This module is part of a suite of processes governed by Network Rail Assurance Panel (NRAP) to reduce the risk of projects, products or vehicles being brought into service.
