This procedure is mandatory, and applies to any organisational and SMS changes made within any part of Railtrack PLC which is subject to the Railways (Safety Case) Regulations 1994, other than within Railtrack Safety and Standards Directorate.
PURPOSE
To ensure that the effect of any organisational and safety management system (SMS) change does not impose additional risk into Railtrack's activities, and that any potential affect upon Railtrack's Railway Safety Case is properly considered.
