scope:

This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the carbon steel tubes (hereafter referred as "tubes") used for manufacturing cylinder barrels of piston-type pneumatic or hydraulic cylinders by machining or honing the inner surface. This Standard covers the tubes of inside diameters in the range of 32.0 mm to 200.0 mm.

Annex A gives the special quality requirements the purchaser can designate based on the previous agreement with the manufacturer, in addition to the requirements in the text of this Standard.
