Outdoor Cooking Gas Appliances

scope:
This standard applies to newly produced outdoor cooking gas appliances (see Definitions, Part Ill) constructed entirely of new, unused parts and materials. Outdoor cooking gas appliances submitted for examination under this standard shall be classified by type, as follows:
a. Portable - An outdoor cooki appliance provided with wheels for movement, or so obviously compact and light in weight that it can be readily carried by one person.
b. Post-Mounted - An outdoor cooking appliance for installation directly on and attachment to a post provided as a part of the appliance by the manufacturer.
An outdoor cooking appliance may be:
a. Top or surface unit - with top burners.
b. Broiler unit - with the bumer either below the cooking surface (open top) or above the cooking surface (top-fired).
c. Combination of "a" or "b" above, or any other outdoor cooking device that may be for similar installation.
Outdoor cooking appliances may be:
a. for connection to a fixed fuel piping system or,
b. for connection to a self-contained liquefied petroleum gas supply system provided the appliance incorporates integral supply cylinder mounting means which will limit cylinder size to a maximum of 20 pounds of fuel.
