This standard covers design criteria, face-to-face dimensions, pressure-temperature
Valve sizes covered are NPS 2 through 30, corresponding to nominal pipe sizes in ANSI B36.10 with pressure ratings up to and including ANSI Class 600 (see Tables 1 and 2).
Valve configurations are limited to lug-type and wafer-type with facing that will permit installation between the ANSI B16 flanges as referenced in 1.2 (see Figure 1).
The bolting options for lug-type and wafer-type valves are illustrated in figure 1.
